Post-Exercise Heart Rate Recovery Independently Predicts Clinical Outcome in Patients With Acute Decompensated Heart Failure

2015
s S183 artery operation. We found a statistically significant difference in BNP levels between groups (group A-mean level 2241 ng/l, group B 101,3ng/l, p< 0,001, Mann-Whitney test). All pts from group A suffered from at least one episode of decompensation, none from group B. 7 pts from group A had severe and 2pts mild systolic dysfunction of subpulmonal ventricle. All pts from group B had normal EF of subpulmonal ventricle. Conclusion: Prognosis estimation in pts with TGA and RV systolic dysfunction still remains difficult. The results of our retrospective study show that pts with high BNP levels, history of decompensation episodes and systolic dysfunction of subpulmonal ventricle have very poor prognosis. These patients require very intensive treatment approach and should be urgent transplant candidates.
