The present invention relates to a both hands type detachable handle for cooking containers, which is detachably coupled to both sides of a cooking container to balance the cooking container, thereby enabling a user to easily lift a heavy cooking container. The both hands type detachable handle for cooking containers includes: a body unit (10) which has a front end portion with a stepped surface (11) which contacts an outer surface of a cooking container (50); a sliding unit (20) which includes a sliding plate (21) having a front end portion with a detachable piece (22) which contacts an inner surface of the cooking container, and arranged on the body unit to be longitudinally slid thereon, first elastic springs (23) elastically supporting a rear end portion of the sliding plate, and a rotating roller (24) rotatably arranged at a rear end of the sliding plate; a gap adjusting unit (30) which includes a push lever having a front end portion hinge-coupled to the body unit, and backing the sliding plate when being pushed down, a gap adjuster (32) changing a gap (W) between the stepped surface of the body unit and the detachable piece of the sliding plate according to the position, a gap adjusting knob (34) rotating the gap adjuster, and a detent mechanism (35) integrally actuating the push lever and the gap adjuster; a movable member (40) fixing the sliding plate by locking the push lever or cancelling the locking of the push lever; and a cover member (15) coupled to an upper side of the body unit, and having an opening portion (16) such that the push lever can be rotated.
