Research on treatment of verruca plana by Q - switched Nd: YAG lasers

Objective: To find a safe way of treatment of planae and avoid the conventional way which can easily cause side effects such as scars and severe pigment disposition. Methods: Use new type Q-switched Nd: YAG lasers to treat 26 cases of verruca plana. Results: AH patients were cured without recurrence in a following-up year. Skin plerosis in the site of lesion was preferable. There is one case with provisional pigment disposition which automatically disppeared in three months. Conclusion: New type Q-switched Nd: YAG lasers, which automatically and practically with few side effects, can be used in the treatment of verrca plana.
