Subjekte der Praxis – Praxis der Subjekte. Subjektivierung als Perspektive musikpädagogischer Unterrichtsforschung

2015
This article attempts a praxeological alignment based on a critical analysis of the Aristotelian concept of practice. The line of arguments therefore considers subject and practice as central concepts: as opposed to a more traditional view of the subject, this article builds on the notion of the subject in a poststructuralist sense in the vein of the work by Michel Foucault and Judith Butler. As a consequence, the proclaimed perspective for music education takes Schatzki’s idea of social practice into account. This use of praxeological heuristics allows an interpretation of music education as an arrangement of social practices and makes an empirical focus possible that treats it as a setting of steady subjectivations.
