Methods of determining the composition of low-molecular weight epoxide diane resins

1982
Abstract A description is given of methods of analysing the composition of low-molecular weight epoxide diane resins by adsorption liquid chromatography. Analysis was carried out using a “Perkin-Elmer” chromatograph with a column filled with cyanoethylated silica gel. Practically complete separation was achieved of main impurity components contained in the epoxide resin. Several ED-22, ED-20 and ED-16 resin samples and various foreign resin samples of similar properties were analysed. Results of the composition of resin were compared with theoretical results and those, calculated using the Flory theory of equilibrium condensation.
