LA RICERCA DI INFORMAZIONI IN RETE: STRATEGIE E DIFFERENZE FRA TABLET E PC WEB-BASED INFORMATION SEARCH: STRATEGIES AND DIFFERENCES BETWEEN TABLET AND PC USE

This study focused on differences in the web-based information search and evaluation strategies that secondary school students employ when using either mobile devices or personal computers. The study followed several classes throughout the school year, collecting data by way of semi-structured interviews. Three different information search and evaluation strategies were observed, with some specific differences arising from comparison between tablet and personal computer use.
