The apparatus includes a filter portion including a filter element for filtering oil; and a deterioration suppressing section, including a powdery Verschlechterungsverzogerer which suppresses the deterioration of oil. The deterioration suppressing section includes a flow passage wall which holds the Verschlechterungsverzogerer and forms an oil flow passage, and the Verschlechterungsverzogerer includes mesoporous inorganic material.
