Energy loading’s estimation of metal-polymer friction pairs of a rear brake mechanism of thecargo vehicle is given at regulated brake modes of their researches. Influence of compulsorycooling on energy loading of metal-polymer friction pairs is established and their thermalstableand metastable condition is allocated. Objective - improving the efficiency of metalpolymerfriction pairs of drum-shoe brakes of vehicles by using forced cooling and establishtheir thermal stabilization state in laboratory and road conditions. We have considered the followingquestions: forced cooling system for friction units; thermal stabilization condition ofrim of brake drum.
