Fluorescein–fullerene dyads: a new kind of fullerene dyad—synthesis and their photophysical properties

Abstract Two novel fluorescein–C 60 dyads have been synthesized. Fluorescence quenching in the dyads indicates a photoinduced intramolecular electron transfer from the fluorescein to the C 60 moiety.
