Objectives The purpose of this study is to come up with a way to integrate music and dance among art subjects based on Laban's movement theory, not music educator. Methods This work is based on literature analysis as a qualitative research method. Literature analysis may reveal the physical expression activities presented in high school music textbooks, suggesting keywords for applying Laban's movement elements. Results The positive resultant aspect of this work is that after finding various music concepts in musical pieces and connecting the effort elements, we were able to make the sound 'visible' through a series of processes to extract the basic effort behavior and express it as a movement. Conclusions Through the close connection between the concept of music and the elements of Laban's effort, it has laid the theoretical foundation for promoting physical expression activities in high school music classes. This showed the possibility of being presented as a new module for teaching and learning as an art convergence education.
