Diagnosis and Therapeutic Management of Cystitis in a Bull calf

Recurrent cystitis was diagnosed in a three month old Bull calf with anorexia, colic and turbid urine. Microbial cultures of urine, yielded Staphylococci sp. Calf was treated with Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin for two weeks along with supportive therapy. Animal recovered uneventfully.
