Reavaliação hidroquimica da região de Casablanca, Marrocos

1974
The object of this study was to reinterpret the chemical analyses of the ground waters fram the region of Casablanca, Marocco, by the method of authomatic treatement (computer IBM 360/40 - 128k octets). For this, various parameters of the programs HYCH, PIPER, HISTO and G RAD (elaborated at the Bureau de Recherches Geologiques et Minieres, Orleans, France) were used. Ground water analyses were arranged in seven groups, according to the lithology of the places where the water samples were collected. The diagrams of Piper showed three distinct groups, of samples (A, B, C) according to different chenucal compositions, irrespective of sampling criteria. The interpretation of the results was mostly based on the study of the diagrams of Piper. The histograms and graphics completed the study of the diagrams. There is a relationship between the chemical composition of the ground waters and the lithology of the outcropping rocks. It seems, that the ground waters are more influenced by the rocks they inflltrate, than weathered rocks and sediments where the waters circulate, suggesting mixtures of waters from the ground waters and inflltrated waters.
