Estrategia participativa para el desarrollo del turismo rural en Hoyo de Mena

The current research's goal was the design of a participative strategy from the People Education with the purpose of developing the rural tourism in the tobacco land Hoyo de Mena placed in San Juan y Martinez. It was assumed the participating action research as qualitative method, which based in the Popular Education's principles contributed to the formation of critical people who became change agent according to the local development.The designed strategy had as results the appreciation of the local identity, the creation of an organized managing group with self-management capacities to develop the rural tourism, as well as the governmental and private actor's increased awareness and articulation in order to get the project' success and its insertion in the tobacco Route.
