External Evaluation program’s Performance (EPP) are a "comparison retrospective system of results from different laboratories, organized by independent external entities. It allows to identify the maximum capacities of the laboratory, ensures the integration into national and international networks, promotes the methodologies standardization and training "allowing the quality assurance processes that carries out the different Departmental and Distric Public Healthy Laboratories (LSPD). These programs are implemented by the National Reference Laboratory (NRL), that according to Decree 2323/2006 states that the National Reference Laboratory to design, validate and implement a monitoring assessment system to guarantee the control in the processes in order to monitor compliance with quality standards laboratory tests of interest in public healthy. ensure the functioning of this type of evaluation program NTC-ISO / IEC 17043 specifies the requirements for the laboratory competence that makes aptitude testing programs. In this regard, this project points out to generate an action plan to apply the NTC-ISO / IEC 17043 standard to these external evaluation programs and ensure the development and implementation in the organization.
