System and apparatus for recovering a vehicle

A system comprises two vessels and a controller. One of two vessels is surface vehicles. The surface vehicle and the other vehicle each include a fishing line, wherein a catch device is arranged on a fishing line. The safety gear allows to build on engagement with the other catch line connect to the same. The controller is configured to control a first of the two watercraft in a curved path around the second of the two watercraft.
