O uso das tecnologias de informação e comunicação nas pesquisas escolares

It is presented here a brief analysis of how Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are being used for school research and what is the role of the librarian in this context. Through theoretical surveys on school research regarding ICTs, it was sought to contextualize the complexity that this educational approach brings into researches and different ways to study nowadays. With the implications that the new information and communication technologies bring, there is a need to develop skills to work competently in information, seeking ways to leverage and integrate new knowledge. It was found that the development of information competence and research skills programs are implemented in countries that had the best assessment in levels of educational performance.
