RESUMO: As constantes mudancas que ocorrem no mundo globalizado aumentam cada vez mais a competitividade entre as organizacoes e entre os trabalhadores dentro delas, exigindo assim inovacoes incessantes por ambas as partes. Este cenario influenciou as empresas a buscarem novas maneiras de alcancar seus objetivos sendo uma destas formas a valorizacao das pessoas no ambiente de trabalho, o ser humano. Evidencia-se entao algo novo nas organizacoes modernas: o papel do coaching . O presente artigo objetivou analisar os beneficios do coaching para a lideranca. Para a elaboracao deste artigo, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliografica descritiva, com livros e artigos cientificos, que comprovaram a importância e eficacia de uma lideranca exercida atraves do processo de coaching nas organizacoes. O coaching aparece como um facilitador a fim de fortalecer competencias de seus colaboradores para que possam enfrentar as demandas de uma sociedade altamente competitiva. O lider-coach se destaca como uma lideranca responsavel, segura, com metas claras e objetivas, contribuindo para a formacao de uma equipe mais consciente de suas funcoes. Conclui-se que um estilo de lider-coach pode ser fundamental numa lideranca moderna, estruturada e comprometida com bons resultados. Palavras-Chave: Coaching ; Lideranca; Lider-coach; Diferencial. ABSTRACT : Summary: The constant changes that occur in the globalized world increases even more the competitiveness between organizations and between workers inside them, requiring innovations incessant for both parts. This scenario influenced businesses to search for new ways to reach their goals, being the most important focusing on people, the human. It is evident then something new in modern organizations: the role of coaching. This article aims to analyze the benefits of coaching for leadership. For the preparation of this article, a descriptive, bibliographic study was made with books and scientific articles that prove the importance and efficiency of leadership exercised through the process of coaching in the organizations. Coaching appears as a facilitator to strengthen skills of its employees so that they can meet the demands of a highly competitive society. he leader-coach stands out as a responsible leader, confident, with clear goals and objectives, contributing to the formation of a team that is more conscious of its functions.
