Spectrophotometric determination of α-naphthol, β-naphthol, and oxine in aqueous solution

Abstract Diazotized orthanilic acid reagent has been devised as a novel chromogen for the trace determination of α-naphthol, β-naphthol, and oxine in aqueous solution. The developed method is characterized by simplicity and rapidness and does not resort to either temperature control or solvent extraction.
