The metal marker tag detection system comprises an alternating current signal generator, and the system further comprises a detection coil, a phase and amplitude detector, a direct current offset amplifier, an analogue-to-digital converter and a digital signal processor all which are sequentially connected, wherein the alternating current signal generator is respectively connected with the detection coil and the phase and amplitude detector.
