Scholarly Communications from the Publisher Perspective

2011
ABSTRACT New technologies, changing economics, and morphing expectations among researchers and librarians have forced publishers to change the way they package, price, and disseminate published works. Past events and trends provide a reference point for describing current publisher offerings, which in turn are used as reference points in identifying possible future challenges for publishers serving the academic library community.
