Preventive medicine during the preparation of Bulgarian military contingents for participation in the missions abroad

The participation of the military contingents in missions abroad is associated with changes in living standards and hygiene of military personnel and poses a risk of dete- rioration of the epidemiological status. The article presents the preventive medical aspects of the military medical service activities dur- ing the preparation for participation in mis- sions. The observations of these mission dri- ven hygiene and counter-epidemic activities are systematized with a view of the optimiza- tion of the prophylactic measures.
