Upbringing in the Spirit of Patriotism, Friendship of Peoples, and Religious Tolerance

An all-Russian scientific-practical conference on this theme was held in Moscow at the end of 1999. It was organized and conducted by the Russian Academy of Education (the State Scientific Research Institute of the Family and Upbringing, the Ministry of Labor, and the Russian Academy of Education) and the government of the Republic of Dagestan (the State Pedagogical University, the Intercollegiate Center for the Inculcation of Culture in Interethnic Interaction). The work of the forum was participated in by scientists, representatives of ministries and departments, higher and secondary educational institutions, and civic organizations in many regions of the country.
