Suggestion of Circumstances in Exploration and Properties of Unknown Pages Aimed at Enhancing the Meaningful Trial and Error

2018
In complex Web search conducted in parallel with long-term intellectual activities, it is important to accumulate results after understanding the results and circumstances of the search. However, searches accumulate a large number of diverse webpages as work progresses. Moreover, it is difficult to keep the results and circumstances of the search as time passes. Therefore, it is difficult to accurately grasp the current search situation. Furthermore, it is difficult to reflect the search policy based on the current search situation in the next search. In this research, we were aiming at developing support methods for promoting consideration of such search policy. First, we analyzed existing pages and extracted relationships that exist between useful pages. Then, we classified each acquisition pages according to the contents from the relationship between the acquisition pages, and support for organizing and understanding of the user’s acquisition page. Furthermore, we developed a method of suggesting the "properties" of unknown pages as a clue for examining a new page. As a result, it possible to promote the consideration of the search policy based on the user’s browsing history and their current search situation.
