(57) Abstract: The present invention relates to the determination method or radar sensor elevation errors of the multi-beam radar sensor. To detect the elevation of the multi-beam radar sensor for a preset target, cutting plane 1 arranged in a plurality of horizontal in preset distance a is formed. The value for the corresponding antenna diagrams in each plane, in consideration of the elevation angle alpha, in a suitable format, for example, are stored normalized in parametric form. To reduce the memory, the additional information, for example, the value of the road clutter is added, if thereby recognize the angular direction of the upward or downward, it is sufficient to store the half cut for reasons of symmetry. Suitably prepared by standardization and quality factor formed by comparing the measured echo value, the corresponding elevation angle α is obtained at each cutting plane 1. Based on long-term stored measured values, the angle of the mis-regulation of the radar sensor 3 using the corresponding histogram is determined.
