Study on electromagnetic characteristics of moving magnet linear compressor

Moving magnet linear compressor (MMLC) is widely used in refrigeration equipment because of its high efficiency. In this paper, the problem about axial thrust of the core component of MMLC is studied. The finite element simulation model of the motor is established to analyze the influence of relative structural parameters on the force performance of the motor based on ansoft software, and an optimization scheme is designed to enhance axial thrust and working efficiency. The simulation results indicate that the structure with rib of outer yoke extending outwardly has great influence on motor performance and reveal the rule that the larger the excitation, the more obvious the attenuation effect is. The axial thrust of the motor eventually can reach more than 350N. Both the linear compressor thrust and the working efficiency are improved.
