Satisfacción de los pacientes y familiares con los cuidados enfermeros en una unidad de hospitalización

2020
Objective: To evaluate the satisfaction of patients and relatives with the care during their hospital stay in a nursing unit. Methods: An ob-servational, cross-sectional, descriptive study carried out in the University Hospital Complex of Ferrol (UHCF) with patients and their im-mediate family members hospitalized in a nurse unit where patients in charge of Neurology, Cardiology, Pulmonology and Internal Medi-cine (N) enter. = 652, n = 312, α = 0.05, d = ± 3%). We designed an ad hoc data notebook formed by sociodemographic data, LaMonica-Oberst Patient Satisfaction Scale questionnaire (LOPSS12) validated to Spanish, degree of satisfaction and a section of suggestions. A focus group, brainstorming and SWOT matrix design was carried out. Permission was obtained from the Autonomous Committee of Ethics of the Clinical Investigation of Galicia (2014/487) and the management of the UHCF. Informative sheets and informed consent were pre-pared. A descriptive analysis was carried out, a bivariate analysis of the associated variables, with respect to the users. Results: The degree of satisfaction with the care received (or applied to your family member) obtained 9.30 points out of 10, which means that at a lower level of education, less satisfaction is obtained from the users. Conclusions: The user must be satisfied with the care received dur-ing a hospital admission; their satisfaction should be one of the main nursing objectives. To achieve this, it is essential to empathize with the patient and their relatives, so that they are involved in the care plan.
