Secado y desalado de emulsiones de petróleo mediante microondas

The emulsions in the oil industry are usually mixtures of oil, water and chemicals, and are not desirable. The separation of emulsions with microwaves is proposed as an alternative to oil dehydration and desalting. Therefore a device was designed to assess the temperature behavior of an emulsion when exposed to microwave treatment and confirm that is dehydrated and desalted.
