Interaction of Stokes wave with a probe signal located on the anti-Stokes wavelength in single mode fiber

We report two special features occurring when a probe signal is located on the anti-Stokes wavelength of stimulated Brillouin scattering. Two independent mechanisms, resulting in optical filtering and Stokes resonance, have been identified experimentally.
