Structure and properties of chromium-nanodiamond composite electrochemical coatings

The structure and properties of galvanic chromium coatings containing nanodiamonds are studied depending on the plating conditions. Surface images of chromium-diamond coatings and diamond films obtained with an atomic force microscope in a topographic mode are analyzed. The presence of nanodiamonds in the electrolyte during deposition is shown to change the properties of coatings.
