The Efficacy of Cupping Treatment and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Clinical Treatment of Prostate Hyperplasia

Objective To compare the clinical effect of the traditional Chinese medicine and cupping treatment in the treatment of prostate hyperplasia.Methods Reviewed retrospectively the clinical data of the 40 cases with cupping treatment and 40 cases with traditional Chinese medicine treatment.Results The I-PSS,PVR,BS,nocturia number,times of 24 h urine difficulty to suppress of patients in cupping treatment group were significantly lower than those of patients in traditional Chinese medicine group,the Qmax value is obviously higher than that of patients in traditional Chinese medicine group,the above differences were all significant in statistics(P0.05),and there was no obvious difference between the prostate volume of patients in two groups.Conclusion Compared to traditional Chinese medicine treatment,cupping treatment has better curative effects in treating prostate hyperplasia.
