Investigations of exam motivation on 2012 candidates of Shunde Polytechnic have shown that the main concern of candidates is not diploma upgrade but comprehensive quality promotion.The motivation intensity is normal.Over emphasis on examination could have negative influence on the candidates' present learning and school education.Time and cost are the main factors that affect candidates' further learning motivation.All these mean that the better use of the "diploma upgraded to bachelor education" need a scientific layout of talents training.Meanwhile,it is necessary to stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm to receive higher vocational education.Besides,"diploma upgraded to bachelor education" must break through sectional type towards systematic path in order to facilitate the cultivation of advanced technology and practice-oriented talents.
