Objective:To analyze the content of shikimic acid in different parts of Pinus massoniana Lamb.to provide reference for its rational development and application.Methods:The content of shikimic acid in different parts of Pinus massoniana Lamb.was determined by RP-ion-pair HPLC.Results:The Shikimic acid content in tender pine needles of Pinus massoniana Lamb.was highest,followed by old pine needles,yellow pine needles and branches,which in old bark was lowest.Conclusion:Tender pine needles of Pinus massoniana Lamb.have more value to develop than old pine needles.
