The invention provides a method for preparing hexagonal structure WO3.0.33H2O/C powder. The method comprises the following technical processes: (1) preparing a solution from a tungsten source, urea and nitric acid at a certain ratio; (2) heating and stirring the mixed solution in an enclosed electric furnace, and volatilizing and concentrating the solution into WO3.0.33H2O/C powder; and (3) grinding the prepared WO3.0.33H2O powder, adding the WO3.0.33H2O powder and a certain amount of anhydrous dextrose to a reaction kettle for hydrothermal reaction, controlling the reaction temperature within a range of 150-200 DEG C for 4-6 hours, ending the reaction and then obtaining the WO3.0.33H2O/C powder. Nanoscale powder can be prepared by controlling the reaction condition; the preparation technology is simple; the efficiency is high; the cost is low; and industrial production is easy to implement.
