2010
[Objective]To explore the relationship between body mass index ( BMI) ,blood lipid level and fatty liver in adults, provide the reference for prevention and control of fatty liver in community.[Methods]The fatty liver, blood lipid level and obesity were respectively diagnosed by ultrasonography, blood lipid detection and BMI method among 782 residents in Binhe community of Pinggu district. The relationship between BMI,blood lipid level and fatty liver was analyzed.[Results]There were 368(47. 06% ) cases of fatty liver, and 512 (65. 47% ) cases of obesity. There were 332 cases of obesity complicated with fatty liver, which accounted for 64. 84% (332 /512) of obesity cases. Among 368 patients with fatty liver, there were 274 (74. 46% ) cases of lipid abnormality. There were significant differences in (BMI) and blood lipid level (TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C) between patients with fatty liver and people without obesity and fatty liver (P 0. 05) . There was no significant difference in blood lipid level between patients with obesity complicated with fatty liver and people without obesity and fatty liver. The types of hyperlipidemia among patients with fatty liver were mainly combined hyperlipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia, and compared with the patients without fatty liver, the difference was significant ( P 0. 05) . [Conclusion]The prevalence of fatty liver was high in healthy population, and there was a high correlation between fatty liver and BMI increase, hyperlipidemia ( especially combined hyperlipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia) .
