Solar cell with antireflective coating and methods for producing such

2011
It is a solar cell having a luminescent antireflection coating (24, 26) provided, which preferably consists of a first manganese-doped layer (24) consists of zinc sulfide and a second layer (26) made of magnesium fluoride. Due to the luminescence, the unused in conventional solar cells to a large extent radiation is converted in the UV region into a longer-wave light, whereby the efficiency is increased.
