A Mixed Mutual Authentication Scheme Supporting Fault-Detection in Industrial Internet of Things.

In the Industry Internet of Thing (IIoT), industrial robots and employees play very important roles in manufacturing process. However, a secure and efficient authentication scheme for industrial robot and employee is under research and challengeable. For instance, the industrial robot and employee are vulnerable to impersonation and desynchronization attack in the authentication phase. Meanwhile, it is hard for control center to find the disobedient industrial robot. Hence, in this paper, we set a threshold of defect rate to find and identity the source of error. In addition, by introducing the PUF to authentication between robot and server, our scheme can effectively resist the desynchronization attack. Finally, through our security analysis and experimental simulation, our proposed scheme can ensure secure and efficient in authentication phase.
