EFFECT OF SUPPLEMENTED SIWU DECOCTION ON BLOOD PRESSURE AND LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY IN SHR

The effect of supplemented Siwu decoction ( SSWD) on blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy of spontaneous hypertension rats ( SHR) is studied. Sixty SHR are randomly divided into six groups. SBP and left ventricular mass( LVM) ,the left ventricular mass index( LVMI) ,the content of left ventricular myocardical interstitial collagen and the collagen ratio of typeⅠto type Ⅲ at different dose groups of SSWD and model group are measured. The results show the antihypertensive effects of SSWD is efficient and lasting,and do for the target organs damages associated with hypertension.
