HBV'nin replikasyonunu tenofovir iceren anti-retroviral tedaviler ile baskilamak mumkundur. Dogrudan etkili antiviral ilaclarin gelistirilmesiyle HCV enfeksiyonunun sagaltimi mumkun hale gelmistir.
