These are modern unprecedented times, the emergence of coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) and its consequences have disrupted and affected medical education. Although the priority has been and should be the care of patients and communities, this pandemic implies logistical challenges and concerns about the training of future doctors, which requires intense and rapid attention from medical schools, managers (university and hospital) and medical educators.
