COMPARACIÓN ESTRUCTURAL Y MORFOLÓGICA DE TiO2 SINTETIZADOS POR LA RUTA DE LOS ATRANOS Y LA RUTA CONVENCIONAL EN EL MÉTODO SOL-GEL

2011
Powder of TiO 2 was synthesized by the “route of the atranes” (new precursory Titanatrane) and for the conventional route (precursory alkoxide, Tetrabutil Titanato) both through sol-gel method, burned at 400, 500 and 600°C. The structural characterization and morphological by technical DRX, TOC, SEM and DRS are related with the temperature of burned and precursor to define the properties of the TiO 2. The TiO 2 obtained using Titanatrano precursory presents amorphous particles with microdomains crystalline in anatase phase, high organic content (394 ppm C/TiO 2 up to 400°C), narrow distribution in the average size of particle and quasi spherical morphology. The TiO 2 obtained using Alkoxide precursory present amorphous particles with crystalline microdominios in phases anatase and brookite at 400 and 500°C, and in phases anatase and rutile at 600°C, low organic content ( ≈ 5 ppm C/TiO 2), wide distribution in the average size of particle and irregular morphology. The magnitudes of the values in Bg correspond to the phases crystalline of anatase (400, 500 and 600°C both precursors) and rutile (600°C Alkoxide). The differences in the properties of TiO2 are explained in function to the behaviours of the precursors in the process sol-gel and in the process of burned.
