Spatial positioning calibration of fisheye camera-based panoramic video generating method

2016
The present invention relates to a spatial positioning calibration of fisheye camera-based panoramic video generating method, wherein an image splicing technique for a larger and more complete field of view requires a positional relationship between fixedly connected fisheye cameras to be calibrated to a high precision. Using the fisheye camera determined by a plurality of spatial positions may ensure images without blind spots may be captured 360 degrees in a horizontal direction and 180 degrees in a vertical direction using fewer cameras. By using the image splicing technique of the present patent, multi-angle images are spliced together to form a spherical panoramic image having a 360-degree horizontal angle of view and a 180-degree vertical angle of view. Multiple cameras acquire more spherical panoramic image information.
