A Tecnologia da Biomineralização, uma experiência do Movimento dos Pequenos Agricultores

Based on the biomineralization technology and the search for the strengthening of agroecologicalpeasant based production systems, the Small Farmers’ Movement (MPA) has been seekingto organize alternatives for the production of biomineral inputs through biofactory productionin related cooperatives, such as The Joint Cooperative of Industrialization and Commercializationof Biofuels of Brazil (COOPERBIO), Located in the region of Middle High Uruguay in RioGrande do Sul. Through the Peasant Program, a public policy for the strengthening of peasantproduction, of the state government approved in 2013, more than 5,000 families of small-scalefarmers were distributed to biomineral inputs (composed of rocks, biofertilizers), making it possibleto strengthen a new productive matrix and many technical production experiences.
