The effect of tensile properties on hole-expansion properties of sheets

This study aims to investigate the effect of tensile properties on hole-expansion properties. Six different (high manganese steel, SUS201, SUS202, SUS304L, SUS316L and SUS430) sheets with a thickness of 3.0mm was selected for this study. Uniaxial tension test was performed to characterize the tensile properties of the sheets. The results of hole expansion experiments were compared with the results of finite element simulations.
