Efficient Protocol for Searchable encryption and secure deletion on cloud storages

2017
Cloud-storage services have become popular and useful to individuals and corporations. The files and information stored in remote cloud servers are, however, prone to breaches and manipulation. Users claim that the security of such data is a primary requirement for a reliable service. Secure deletion, an encrypted file system, and searchable encryption are three essential requirements for secure cloud storage. The available cloud services are still a long way from satisfying these requirements, though, and at most, they accommodate the requirements within a limited scope. The proposed protocol is designed for secure cloud storages that are accessible by a user who is located anywhere on the Internet and is on any device. The performance evaluations support the efficiency of the protocol.
