Leg fractures due to traffic accidents

The researchers assess the link between the types of fractures of the leg and categories of users of the road. They have done research on a sample of 282 injured in 1984 and 1985. Results: 1) leg injuries caused by accidents are frequently in pedestrians, 2) fracture type diaphysis belonging to group are frequently to pedestrians, the passenger vehicles and while the motorcycle on found the distal fractures in drivers, cyclists and passengers of public transport, 3) simple fractures dominate in all user groups studied, 4) fractures with moving predominate in drivers of tractors, 5) fractures of the road segmental predominate in passenger vehicles while the type spiral fractures predominate in motorcyclists.
