Angiofibroma juvenil nasofaríngeo. Metaanálisis de su tratamiento

2003
The Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma (JNA) is a benign tumoral disease that may have a very aggressive behaviour, spreading from the nasopharynx to structures such as the cranial cavity, with a high morbidity. The patient’s age and gender, as well as the geographic area; have great influence regarding its presentation. A meta-analysis of the different kinds of treatment used is reported; according to the english literature in the last 20 years. The results are discussed, and our conclusions presented.
