Growth of MoS2-CuO hetero-structure nanowires

In this paper, we present the synthesis of MoS2-CuO hetero-structure nanowire. The CuO nanowires were synthesized by thermal oxidation method, whereas the coating of MoS2 was done by chemical vapor deposition technique. The samples were characterized using Scanning Electron Microscope, Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy and Transmission Electron Microscope. The analysis shows the formation of the desired hetero-structure.
