Structure of mixed poly(acrylic acid) salts

+CH(COOH), about 0.02 mole % of -CH-CH(COOFe i/n, and about 40 mole % of -CH2-CH [ CO0-NH 2 (CH2 CH2OH) 2 ] fragments. The EPR spectra were recorded on a "Rubin" EPR-spectrometer with a working frequency of 9.6 GHz. The scanning of the magnetic field was calibrated according to the spectrum of the Mn(2 +) ion in MgO, the position of the HFS/hyperfine structure/ lines of which in the magnetic field was monitored by means of a MIM-2 magnetic induction meter and a ChZ-20 digital frequency meter. The metallopolymers are magnetically uncompensated samples. The signals were assigned by a method proposed by G. M. Zhitomirov et alo [3]. When various amounts of a 1% CuCI2"2H20 solution are added from a dropping funnel to a 3% aqueous solution of PAC-FeDEA, the reaction medium retains its homogeneity until the amount of copper per i g of the polymer is lower than 0.04 g. Green-colored powder-like or rubber-like compounds are precipitated from the reaction mixture by an acetone:ethyl acetate (i:i) mixture, which contain 4-5% of nitrogen and up to 4.5% of copper, and which are readily soluble in water after drying. Increase in the amount of copper chloride (above 0.04 g of copper per i g of the polymer)
