Hematoma subcapsular hepático como inusual complicación tras realización de CPRE en paciente con colangiocarcinoma

2019
Complications arising from the performance of an ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) are usually low, the most frequent being infectious, such as pancreatitis or acute cholangitis. There are other more rare complications that can be potentially serious, such as hemorrhagic and within these, the development of a post-CPR hepatic subcapsular hematoma of which there are very few cases published in the current literature. Its diagnosis is made by imaging tests and the treatment will depend on the extent of the hematoma and the patient's clinical situation. The case of a patient that illustrates this rare complication as well as a small review of this pathology is presented.
