Chaotic Spread-Spectrum Sequence by Mid Multi-Bit Quantifying and Its Properties

2002
A new method of mid multi-bit quantifying chaotic sequences was proposed by the technique of generating pseudo-random numbers. This method has excellent independence and correlation. The method can alleviate operations of generating sequences, and increase the period of spread-spectrum sequences. The factors relating to properties of a spread-spectrum system of the spread-spectrum sequences by the method, such as balance property, odd/even correlation property, were investigated. This method can alleviate operations of generating sequences without changing properties of spread-spectrum sequences, enhance complexities of the sequences and is propitious to improve security of the spread-spectrum communication system.
